Unfortunately there were several other web sites which had been maintained by the Naval Historians at Kaflavik but these sites were lost when the U.S. Military withdrew from Iceland. These, now gone, sites had the history of the Iceland Defense Forces, U.S. navy Communications Stations, the Tropospheric Scatter communications systems that linked the radar sites and Keflavik together. If you know where this information can now be found, I would appreciate it if you could pass that info on to me for inclusion on this page.
